Local Camera Backup

A private, self-hosted camera application with optional backups to the owner's Google Drive.

How it works

The camera sends video to the owner's local server. When Google Drive backups are enabled, that server copies new saved snapshots and completed recordings to a folder chosen by the owner. Existing captures and the rolling live buffer are excluded.

Google sign-in takes place in the owner's browser. The application requests access only to the Drive files and folders selected for use with the app, and files the app creates. Snapshots are saved as JPEG images and recordings as MP4 videos.

This website provides application information only. It does not host the camera interface, live video, recordings, or Google authorization credentials.
